Jerry Stiller, Simon Singer, George Shapiro and Howard West, and the California
Council for the Humanities, a compelling treatment has been written, a
demo reel produced and interviews filmed with Sid Caesar, Shelley Berman,
Larry Gelbart, Carl Reiner, Jerry Stiller, Jack Carter, Mike Wallace,
Dick Van Dyke, Dick Cavett, Alan Dershowitz, Art Buchwald, and others.
We have assembled an award-winning production team headed
by writer-director Mark Jonathan Harris. The film's distinguished board
of advisors is comprised of scholars, cultural experts, comedy writers,
historians and comedians, including two rabbis, Moshe Waldoks and Sydney
Mintz, who perform professionally as stand-up comedians. We have established working relationships with several
research facilities, Jewish organizations and individuals, including:
